I've Been Workin!

And how!  Granted I had Sunday and Monday off to recuperate from the weekend and catching up on cartoons.  then worked a 12hr day Tuesday.  Got out a little early on Wednesday with a 10hr day, and back to a 12 today.  I won't even notice the holiday when I didn't work on my paycheck!  Long hours are nice, and I am really stoked about the project!  I can't wait to talk about it, probably sometime in July...
Other than that, I haven't been doing much of anything.  Hobbies took a backseat, maybe tomorrow or the weekend if I have some time.  Gotta finish my Slug sculpt so I can start some bigger sculpt ideas I've had...

Hobby Update...

Ok I guess I'll start with sculpture projects...

My first sculpture piece was a puzzle piece, tests for a larger piece coming up for Halloween...

Round 1 - Sculpt pretty good, baking it... bad. toaster not a good idea for sculpey...  

Round 2 - sculpts much faster, baked much better in the oven...

Been working on this guy about a week here and there while "watching tv." It's a good thing I like cartoony things cause most of my stuff ends up that way...

Did this cartoony fist in about 5 minutes just goofing around.  Think I'll make a few vinyls, just have to narrow down the character ideas...

Quick sketch of my Halloween Costume Idea.  Office Cthulhu...  It was originally cthulhu thug that I drew ages ago, but then the mask couldn't be as awesome and large underneath a hood.  still have to make more detailed designs, but I think sculpting practice is best for now.

Then there's this guy...  My next painting project.  This is just my  concept piece for it.  I think I am going to try to do this next one mostly by hand.  Gotta work on those steady hands...

Wow so that's a bit of what I've been doing when I get home from work.  Not to mention the Adventures of Wally Fresh #7 has been shipped to the printers and will be released in June featuring another back cover done by yours truly.  Trying to keep busy, as well as sneaking in bass fun in there somewhere...

Two new hobby reasons to keep my fingernails short. Bass guitar and sculpting. Fun stuff need to do more of each... -eD

On the walk home i helped an older woman put a bag in her trunk. My hoodie still smells like old lady perfume... -eD

Brought my speaker with me on my walk to the atms n panda. Was dancing goofy n almost fell. No one saw unless they check the atm tapes. -eD

Gotta figure out a few new shirts to make....   hmmm...  another thing to put on my "to do" list.  I have multiple lists...  oh, if only I would've stayed in genetics long enough to clone myself so I could more done...

Been Busy

Sorry for not posting in a while.  I've been busy.  Work has been mildly hectic getting acquainted with many new programs and even Linux... yikes.

Ok, Nevermind...  I just looked through the page real quick, and forgot how many times I actually have posted since I started work.  I guess this week has just felt so long with all my after work projects.

& my bass has become tons more fun with this guy...

Also I've been working on the 2nd back cover mask for Turner Lange's comic, The Adventures of Wally Fresh!  I was going to post a bit of the work in progress at one point, and even took pictures of only parts so the whole thing couldn't be figured out.  But I've come so far since then I changed my mind and didn't want to post it. I may post a picture of it on my iPad once it's finished.

I ordered my first effects pedal for my bass. It should arrive monday! Bring on the fuzz! -eD

I use to sign some emails to friends with the word "peace" before my name, and i say it on the phone. I started to sign my emails "piece" not sure why. -eD

I painted my controller, that wasn't a secret.  the secret was my design...

here's a little secret as to why it's called the ditzy controller.  this is for non-traditional gamers, two of the buttons were switched, so the circle is where the square should be, and vice versa.  It's all about flash and distraction, like most girl's in bikini's...
