Watch Whoops...

Woke up early for work today and even though I knew there was a leap day this week up until last night I forgot to maintain my watch which had the correct day but not numbered date. I stared at this, and then my calendar then back and forth, this morning. Confused for longer than I should have been. Can claim before coffee, though sadly after shower.

The move... aka the stuff that I no longer have...

The Funko Pop figures from all of the movies/projects that I worked on.  I knew I wouldn't have the space for them at my new place, and thankfully they have found a good home with lovely people.

So many molds and casts thrown away, including my final Jack O'Lantern mask since I doubted I would wear that version of the mask again (may revisit in the future if i have the time/space and lack of Halloween costume ideas in the future).

Munnys...  My first and last two finished Munny figures (as well as Ruthie's figure that she did at our Munny painting party back in the day).  I will miss seeing these guys, but they were not super great and I just didn't have the space unfortunately.

More casts and prosthetic pieces in the trash including my Zombie Knuckles nose, and Mr. Yuck mohawk tentacles...

That kickboard that has been with me for a while.  Has definitely seen better days...  So long...

This lamp was my sisters originally, she took it to college, then at some point gave it to me, and I think I had it in college, then in Fl, and finally in LA, where I had it in the studio because only one of the lights worked, and I had a hard time throwing it out.  But sadly, it was finally time. I dismantled it, folding it into it's most compact self and threw it into the apt. complex dumpster, however when I walked past the bin later I saw that it was removed from the bin and re-assembled just standing right outside of the bin.  I questioned the possible interference of spirits, but later on when it was no longer anywhere to be found, I had figured it had found yet another owner.  So there is a chance that it is still living somewhere shining light and random word bubbles at someone.

I have a lot of books...

Back in Sept of 2015 I packed up my bookcases because I knew it would be a hassle, and knew we would be moving somewhat soon.  Made the mistake of packing nothing but books (which is nothing but stacked paper with a thicker cover and binding) into Large moving boxes at first.  I was pretty sure the boxes weighed more than I did, but I still packed and moved at least 2 boxes before admitting defeat and heading out to purchase medium boxes instead.

It also showed my how fair my skin is and how weak my arms are...

Ended up with 7 medium boxes full of books, still quite heavy.  Fast forward about 3 months and it is finally time to move...

so we meet again books, graphic novels, and trades...

all packed in the back of my car and ready to be relocated...  I also had 7 long boxes full of comics that I have lost the pictures for, proving that if I were to move from California I have way too many books to be able to move without a trailer...  Although with my current bookcases I can fill them both up leaving just enough space for my Green Goblin and Joker collection which it's current setup will be revealed later...

Letter from my health insurance...  it turned out to be a poster with motivational things printed in reverse on the opposite side so if you held it up to light the initial read would be personal unhealthy thoughts, and the shone through lines would be healthy ways around them.  bad marketing...

Mickey's now makes a 40 oz plastic bottle!  not as heavy, though gets warmer faster, need a 40oz koozie...

At the Adobe Max convention that I worked there were giant building blocks for the adults...
(in hindsight should have put my shoe in there for scale reference but those blocks are about a foot in length.)

yeah I know I still haven't posted in progress pics of Halloween 2015 yet, and I know I lost a bunch of pictures that I took during the recent move, but here are some real old ones to catch up to where I should have been before the Halloween posts...

An Appetizer...

Been too long but since I last posted. Swore I had some posts in sept/oct but guess not. So here's a little something to tide you over until I post more or throw a bunch of pics from the last few months.

The other day I guess I was overly tired when getting dressed because I accidentally put my boxers on backwards. Finally realized about 4 hrs later when I attempted to find the front hole in the boxers while at the urinal.  Would have laughed, but no one likes a laughing person in the bathroom, and ended up spending the rest of the day with added room in the front and the now conscious knowledge that my boxers were backwards anytime I moved or walked...

Heh time is not the same for me as others...

I may have said a photo catch up would arrive that night, then life happened, and I kind of forgot.  But most people know how us creatives can get from time to time.  A day turns into 3 and we act as if no time has progressed at all.  ok well here is an update with photo's, nothing major...

What I can (probably not supposed to anyway) take pictures of at work...  My ID badge (still the same since Halloween '14), and my note pad with some scribbles. 

Old writing setup, Word on my Ipad, and a bluetooth keyboard.

In April I had a technology blackout, where both of my computers, my main All-in-one pc, and my old work computer died within a week of each other.  I was able to get my main one fixed but instead of getting a replacement work computer, I decided to get a laptop instead and use my old main pc as my new work pc, and the randomness (and writing) with my laptop.  A lil backstory to the next image, as well as to explain why I didn't post anything for the months of 3-5, maybe...

Saw this the last time I was at the beach.  It made me laugh, then grossed me out.  Not sure which should come first.  Granted, if you were to leave one type of condom wrapper at the beach, it would be a magnum...

My favorite picture of randomness found in what you could call my backyard.  I use to use this with goggles in the pool, but our landscape guys just throw our stuff wherever, and I kinda dug how it looked in the dirt like that.  Hope it gets somewhat buried and the next tenant finds it.  Or it scares one of the yard workers... payback.

Had some old drafts of something I've been working on for a while now.  Didn't want to throw them out (no copyrights or trademarks yet), plus this seemed almost like a viking funeral, but it never made it to the water, didn't want to pollute our pool with ashes (but it has been considered).

MADBALLS!  They are coming back!  My awesome sister got me the 3 issue comic series from back in the mid-80's.  I kinda hope they are expensive so I only get one or two...  Who am I kidding, I want them moderately priced, so they are made with quality and are affordable enough that I can get them all!

Okay... The explanation for this picture will help explain why it's on here.  I went into Burger King in San Diego after a day at Comic-Con.  While walking up and scanning the menu, from far away I read the "Extra Long Pulled Pork" but my brain interpreted it as, "Yadda Yadda Long Pig," [which if you don't know, long pig is slang for Human].  It took me back for a moment, before I re-read and understood what it really said.  Don't let your brain fill in the gaps people, read carefully.

This was on the tail end of a truck that I was walking past to get to my car before heading to the Convention.  I appreciated the creepy factor, but the truck looked like it belonged in a horror movie already, so I think a tennis ball to warn people of the pole would have been a much better idea, help stay off the "watch lists".

Shamu's pool time was at an end when all of his fins were torn or deflated.  Most likely due to the careless yard workers, or the sun, but he had to be put down.  His hot rubber cut so smooth, but it made me sad... so I took multiple during pictures...

About a month or so ago I laid on the couch for the first time, but left my slippers on the floor next to me.  When the movie was done, I turned off the tv with the remote, then swung my lungs around to place them in my slippers, luckily right before I do, I see this.  Granted it's only a cricket but it was a tad shocking to see, erspecially while half asleep and almost stepping on it barefoot.

Saw this sign in a parking lot.  Almost accepted the challenge, but I noticed a lot of video camera's all around so I decided it was one of those challenges that would unfortunately go on the loss board...

That's all I could find from my phone, I will try to post more randomness on here whenever I can remember, or think of something funny enough to post.  Maybe it's because a lot of my recent jokes are being used in some future projects, and I want to keep the mystery of it all.  Or just more excuses...

6 months Huh?

Ok well I will post today's right now, hoping to post more stuff as it comes available.  Shouldn't be as much of an issue, since it will be more visible artsy stuff, less words on a page stuff.  I've been getting back into zBrush, and today I was messing around with different things, tools, subtools, merging geometry, and this guy ended up being made...  I call him "Snot Rocket."

May come back to him to add actual details and texture him, but I am just practicing forms and relearning layout things.  More stuff to come, hopefully not long until I can start getting details down and textures.  But it is fun to just create throw away characters...  Get it?  Throw away?  Snot Rocket?
Ahhh whatever...  I'll update the funny ha ha's with catch up pictures tonight...  Probably separated into a few posts.
